So my awesome, super cool roomie wrote a poem. And I am going to share it with you.
A Poem for My Rumi, mother of 2:
Maneuvers that minivan like it’s a mini-coupe
Ordained to mommy-hood without the normal prerequisites (both unfortunate and fortuitous)
Multitasks like a pro, balancing children, a family, a career and a social life (at least bi-daily rumi chats) all at once
MILF at the ripe old age of 23
Yogurt, teddy grahams, mac’n’cheese, and apple juice are her chef specialties
Goddess of domesticity – ask her to make you a quesadilla sometime!
Rocks out to Veggie Tunes
Operates like a mom 24/7 – even after 8.5 coronas!
Totes a purse ergonomically designed for cell phone, checkbook, band-aids, snack crackers, juice boxes, random happy meal toys, and enough Aleve to knock out a gorilla (she calls it ‘urban chic’)
Enthusiastically cheers as a horde of banshee midgets play bumper cars off of each other while chasing a poor, unsuspecting soccer ball
I love you Mollie!!!
